Owner - Josh Zawislak
I graduated from Florence/Darlington Technical College in 2001 w/ an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering.
In late 2004 I started with Builders FirstSource as a truss designer. I was with BFS until 2008 when I was laid off due to the housing market crash.
Around the same time, Motley Structural Design in Sumter, SC was contracted by BFS to provide truss seals. I was hired by MSD to review trusses for design accuracy. I was also tasked with structural drafting using CAD and then Revit while with MSD. We started using Revit in 2010, and I am now a polished Revit user.
My company goal is to provide Revit drawings for structural engineers or architects who may not be up to speed on this newer drafting system. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the future of all construction projects. Some projects are starting to require a BIM model. Don't miss out on those big projects just because you don't know Revit, just call me!
